Sinopsis Synopsis
Rocío (29) decide volver a casa con su hija de diez, Candela, después de una época de crisis económica y personal. El retorno al hogar forma parte de una huida en busca de una vida mejor. Durante el fin de semana que pasa con su madre, Rocío tomará una decisión inesperada que afectará a su futuro.
Rocío (29) decides to return home with his daughter of ten, Candela, after a time of economic and personal crisis. The return home is part of an escape in search of a better life. During the weekend he spends with his mother, Rocío will make an unexpected decision that will affect his future.

Biografía Biography
Tras formarse en dramaturgia y dirección de actores en la Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático, estrena una obra propia (El canto del Barbo. 2018) y trabaja un tiempo como asistente de dirección en producciones nacionales. Después, se forma en la escuela de cine EFTI cursando el máster de Dirección de fotografía. Mientras tanto, realiza cortometrajes y videoclips como director de fotografía. En 2023 rueda Sunkiss y Knockout, sus dos primeros cortometrajes como guionista y director. Actualmente trabaja como auxiliar de cámara en producciones profesionales.

After training in dramaturgy and actor direction at the Royal School of Dramatic Art, he premiered his own work (El canto del Barbo. 2018) and worked for a while as assistant director in national productions. Later, he trained at the EFTI film school taking the Master of Direction of Photography. Meanwhile, he makes short films and video clips as a director of photography. In 2023 he shot Sunkiss and Knockout, his first two short films as a writer and director. She currently works as a camera assistant in professional productions.

Sunkiss cuenta una historia que no es totalmente real, ni totalmente inventada. Une trazos y elementos que alguna vez me contaron, y de preguntas que me surgieron al escucharlos. Las preguntas son la propia historia, y no hay ninguna tentación de responderlas. Ante todo, quisiera que el espectador no juzgue. La historia se escribió pensando en los que a veces pueden llegar a tomar decisiones difíciles y no tienen la capacidad de comunicarse o de pedir perdón.

Sunkiss tells a story that is not totally real, nor totally invented. It brings together traces and elements that I was once told, and questions that came to my attention. The questions are the story itself, and there is no temptation to answer them. First, I would like the viewer not to judge. The story was written for that, to give the floor to those who can sometimes make difficult decisions and do not have the ability to communicate or ask for forgiveness.
